REMOTE WILDERNESS MOOSE HUNTS

• TROPHY MOOSE RUT SPOT AND STALK HUNTS •

Our Alberta Moose Spot and Stalk Rut Hunts are based from our remote camp Locations that are accessed by Four Wheel Drive Trucks and ATV’s well equipped for the Task.

Bordering Jasper National Park to the West, the Berland River to the North and the Brazeau Canyons to the South this is a very remote and Spectacular area with Strict Wildlife Management initiatives allowing the Bulls to reach maturity with above average Numbers and Class. We have hunted this World Class Area for Decades and have been looking forward to an opportunity to Share this amazing Hunting Area with Our Clients. To say that we are excited about securing the only Outfitter Moose Permits in this World Class Area would be an Understatement.

The Hunt consists of accessing remote wilderness areas where our guides have done their homework locating the Mature Bulls and their Breeding Grounds. Guides set up comfortable Tree Stands, Blinds and Lookout spots in strategic locations to ensure your success and enjoyment are maximized.

Calling in a Trophy Bull Moose in Rut is one of the most exhilarating adrenaline rushes of all hunting experiences, one of the main reasons hunters live to pursue these beasts during the Rut.

As of the last F&W aerial moose surveys conducted in this area, the Bull to Cow ratio was 85 per 100 Cows, with a Calf to Cow ratio of 60 per 100 Cows. Outstanding values!  Outstanding Opportunities!

QUESTIONS?

• POST RUT MOOSE HUNT •

Our late season moose hunts take place when the Moose rut comes to an end. This is a time of great opportunity to access areas where the ground is too wet for travel during the early hunting season. We take clients into remote areas using the advantage of frozen ground to cross the muskeg and Beaver Ponds that stand between us and a successful Hunt.

This season offers the advantage of hunting potentially several bulls at the same time, as the Bulls bunch up in their favorite feeding areas to replenish the fat reserves following the rut season.  We have identified key post rut locations, prepared comfortable Vantage points, Blinds and Tree stands, well before this late season begins to ensure the wariest of the Big Bulls are acclimated to the change in their environment.

Being a primary Bull Moose hunt, we as well offer the opportunity to harvest a trophy Alberta white tail buck or timber wolf if you wish to combo this hunt. The whitetail deer are in full rut during this hunt, and we have found these big bucks start making mistakes and opportunities present themselves when hunting late season moose.
