BLACK BEAR ARCHERY/RIFLE HUNTS IN ALBERTA CANADA
Our spring Bear Hunts take place late April to the second week of June, focused mainly on the last Month of Spring Bear Season when the Bears are out full force, Hungry and Feeding. We accommodate both the Rifle Hunter and Archer, each having an excellent opportunity to harvest a trophy Black Bear or two!
Spot and Stalk Black Bear Hunt’s take place Spring and Fall in our hunting area that includes the Berland, McCloud, Athabasca and Elk River Watersheds were Our Wildlife Management Units are Located. Rolling Hills and Flowing Water best describes this area that is dotted with Reforested Clear Cuts, Pipelines covered in Blueberries and River Ridges that attract these Large Bears of many Colors.
Our Guides have hunted this area for Decades and know where and when the best time and places are to Harvest a Beautiful Canadian Black Bear. We hunt these Trophy Bears by covering ground checking Clearcuts, Pipelines and South facing River Ridges for feeding Bears on OHV’s, and 4x4’s and also utilizing Tree stands, Blinds and predetermined Vantage points for Glassing in areas known for Big Blacks, all producing excellent success rates.

BIG HEALTHY BRUINS!
Our area has an excellent population of Black Bear, due to how vast with very little existing hunting pressure, the numbers and size of Black Bears always remain high.
Including utilizing 4X4’s and ATV's, when River Conditions permit we also use Boat’s to access the remote areas where the Big Bruins have laid claim to the best territory and feeding undisturbed.
As well we can combine Black Bear with most of our big game hunts in the fall. Try our standard black bear hunting package or give us a call to create a custom hunt. (Maybe a Spring Bear Float hunt on one of our amazing River Rafting Hunts for the Adventurist)
